MUJERES AS IN WOMEN (SHORT)
WRITTEN AND DIRECTED BY CARLA BARRAEZ
Mujeres as in Women is a poetic visual narrative by the words of Alfonsina Storni and Gabriela Mistral about femininity and double standards based in the early 1900s - issues still relevant today. The works aim to bring attention to societal issues faced in South America by these poetesses at the time of their careers. Today, the short film is a tribute to the struggles and hard work these South American writers endured to make a difference.
